Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th Century.
This finely-worked figure cast as Buddha sat in the ‘Royal Ease’ position wearing robes that open at the chest, his right hand cupping his ear, his left clutching a small offering, his long flowing hair falling gently over his bejewelled ears and onto his shoulders, sat atop a stepped base draped with a deerskin rug, the baseplate cast with a viśvavajra motif.
Condition: In good condition overall, some age-related surface wear present as is expected with pieces of this type and age.
