Qing Dynasty, 19th Century
This imposing bronze seal cast as a ferocious dragon with a curling scaly body and long flowing beard and whiskers, opening its jaws to reveal rows of large, sharp teeth, the mythical creature perched atop a square-form base cast to the underside in relief with two sets of six-character marks, one in zhuanshu seal script and the other in Manchu.
Condition: Some encrustations to the bronze surface.
