The figure cast as Buddha Shakyamuni seated in dhyanasana, his right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the left resting in his crossed lap holding a small object, wearing loose-fitting robes slung across his left shoulder, the hems decorated with swirling patterns, his face with a serene expression and rows of tight curls atop his head, sat on a double-lotus base, the bronze surface with a rich, attractive patina.
Condition: A small hole to the underside of the foot. Some age-related wear, including some encrustations and marks to edges.
